Mark Playdon is the Founder and Managing Director of Drone Addiction, a dynamic and customer-focused online store dedicated to drone enthusiasts and professionals alike. With a strong belief that exceptional service goes beyond the transaction, Mark has built a reputation for delivering not only quality products but also personalised support and guidance to his customers.

A certified UAV pilot through the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA), Mark combines technical expertise with hands-on experience in aerial technology. He operates DJI products most days and understands first-hand what drone users need—whether they're just starting out or already immersed in the world of aerial photography, videography, or commercial applications.

What sets Mark apart is his people-first approach. Whenever possible, he prefers to meet customers face-to-face, providing tailored product walk-throughs and practical support. He also offers one-on-one and small group drone training to ensure every customer can fly with confidence and make the most of their investment.

Mark’s passion for flight and storytelling led to the creation of Aerial Digital Technologies  expanding his work into the commercial drone services. From aerial videography and photography to documentaries and advertising, he is deeply engaged in helping others see the world from a new perspective—one only drones can provide.
